For this 14th edition, Germany is the guest of honour!
To mark the occasion, a space will be dedicated to it at the entrance of the Hall Millesium and will offer a mix of aperitifs, a quiz on the cultural differences between France and Germany, and tastings of local specialities.

Tuesday 17th October 2017


11am: Inauguration
11am - 12.30pm: Inaugural walk round

12.30pm: 23rd edition of the Innovation Prize from the Community of the Conurbation Epernay, Coteaux and Plaine de Champagne.
The jury consisting of the wine trade and numerous public and private partners will present awards for viticulture, oenology, technological innovation in process, products and consumables, and marketing services innovation.

2.30pm: 14th Rencontres Espace Champagne organised by Crédit Agricole du Nord Est.

5pm: Medal and certificate presentation ceremony for the 39th Concours d’Épernay des Champagnes du Vignoble, organised by the General Union of Champagne Wine-Growers.
More than 60 wines from wine-growers and cooperatives will be rewarded in various categories by a jury consisting of wine-growers, oenologists, journalists, sommeliers, and restauranteurs.

Wednesday 18th October 2017

9.30am - 12pm / 2pm - 6pm: The International Day will offer Champagne wine-growers two business meeting sessions with international experts: ALTIOS International, Business France, CCI International, BPI FRANCE, Regional Council Grand Est, Crédit Agricole du Nord Est, Customs, General Union of Champagne Wine-Growers...
A pre-diagnosis will be established upon registration to determine the needs of the wine-grower.

2pm - 3.30pm: These business meetings will feature a round table with an emphasis on support assistance and programmes, a focus on Germany, and the testimony of a wine-grower involved in exports and an importer.

Thursday 19th October 2017

9.30am - 12pm / 2pm - 6pm: The Oenotourism Day will offer Champagne wine-growers two business meeting sessions with oenotourism experts.
2pm - 3.30pm: These business meetings will feature a round table. More information soon.

Friday 20th October 2017

8am - 1pm: The Technical Oenologist Morning organised by the French Oenologist Union Champagne region will address the topic of sulphur:

3pm: The Public Innovation Prize will allow visitors to nominate the product, material, or procedure that they consider the most innovative among the official selection for the Innovation Prize.

3.15pm: The Pavillon du Futur Prize will make it possible to reward a start-up, a project backer, regardless of whether or not this is local, offering an innovative product or service linked to the wine sector.

Every day 9.30am - 6pm

• The Careers Gateway organised by the Employment Agency of Épernay and its Region and supported by the Community of the Conurbation Epernay, Coteaux and Plaine de Champagne will allow you to discover jobs and training in the sparkling wine sector.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: The International Pole will bring together all of the VITeff export partners: Business France, CCI International, BPI FRANCE, Regional Council Grand Est, Crédit Agricole du Nord Est, Customs, and the General Union of Champagne Wine-Growers.
They will be on hand during VITeff to offer solutions to visitors and exhibitors.

The Pavillon du Futur in partnership with Le Bloc and Innovact Center.
This space dedicated to innovation and new technologies will look at subjects relating to innovation in general and, in particular, drones, the bio-economy, traceability and contactless technology.
A showroom will allow innovative companies from the region (Visual TWT, Dactyle, 3D Morphoz...) to present their solutions.
