9:30 a.m - Hall Programmation : 2nd call for projects for the "Anaxagore" programme. Initiated by the Champagne Committee (CIVC), the Industries and Agri-Ressources competitive cluster (IAR), CARINNA, and the Champagne Ardenne Regional Council, its objective is to bring to light new projects and new applications designed to make best use of agricultural resources in direct connection with the needs and activities of the wine growing sector. The programme is implemented in close collaboration with the regional agency for research abd innovation (CARINNA).

All day - Hall Rendez-vous d’Affaires: The Champagne-Ardenne Regional CCI, in partnership with the Enterprise Europe network will be holding on the principle an exchange of technologies programme, a business convention on technologies connected with sparkling wines.
Inaugural run - Hall Champagne Amphithéâtre : The Epernay Pays de Champagne Community of Communes 2011 Innovation Prize will be celebrating its 20th birthday in partnership with the Champagne Ardenne Regional Council and the Club des Entrepreneurs Champenois
Inaugural run – Chapiteau Espace Emploi Formation: Official launch of the “European Viticultural Regions network of viti-vinicultural training courses” by AREV in partnership with the Employment and Training Area, with reception of representatives and students from training institutions in AREV-member countries, incorporating a round table between teachers and students from all establishments and countries represented and a videoconference with students who have been unable to make the journey
2 p.m – Chapiteau Programmation: AREV has invited all members of the CEPV (European Professional Wine Council) to attend the lecture presenting the state of progress of the study carried out by Doctor Etienne MONTAIGNE, Scientific Administrator, CIHEAM-IAMM (International Centre of Mediterranean Higher Agronomic Studies – Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier) on the theme “European study of the socioeconomic and territorial impacts of liberalisation of the rights to plant vineyards”.
2 p.m - Entrance Chapiteau Hall Bulle : Exhibition visit by producers from Alsace, Burgundy, Brazil, Central Europe, China, Italia, Spain, USA…
2 p.m - Hall Champagne Amphithéâtre : 9th “Espace Champagne Encounters” organised by Crédit Agricole du Nord- Est, including a lecture on the theme: “Will China succumb to sparkling wines?”
4 p.m. – TV studio set: Signing with the Syndicat Général des Vignerons of the Charter of Commitment of the Landscapes of Champagne as part of the UNESCO classification
5 p.m - Chapiteau Programmation : Awarding of prizes to the winners of the "33rd Champagnes de la Propriété” competition by the Syndicat Général des Vignerons. Geoffrey ORBAN and Bruno MARLOIS will run the proceedings on the themes of harmonising champagne and music.

2 p.m – Hall Champagne Amphithéâtre: French Institute of Vine and Wine workshop organised by Joël ROCHARD with the theme “sustainable viticulture, tools for implementation and feedback on experience”, in the expert presence of Lisa FRANCIONI of the Wine Institute Durable California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, Adriana VERDI of the Agricultural Economy Institute of the Province of São Paulo and Denis de FROIDMONT, OIV expert responsible for winegrowing files at the European Commission in Brussels
3 p.m. – TV studio set: Pascal FERRAT, chairman of the Syndicat Général des Vignerons, speaks on inheritance support, and on the problems raised at the last General Meeting of the SGV (Syndicat Général des Vignerons).
5 p.m - Chapiteau Programmation : Descriptive tasting session of Argentinean sparkling wines organised by the union of Oenologists of France Champagne Region.
5 p.m – Restaurant: Awarding of prizes to winners of the 22nd Independent French winegrowers’ wines competition.

10 a.m - Chapiteau Programmation: SITMAFGR will be holding a conference and workshops on security issues linked to “obligatory control” of machinery used in vineyards
10 a.m – Hall Champagne Amphithéâtre: Lecture organised by the Syndicat Général des Vignerons de la Champagne (SGV, General Union of Champagne Winegrowers), on the theme “help with inheritance”. More than ever determined to bring their support to winegrowers, the SGV will be focusing on the theme of help with inheritance and the passing on of property. Taking a closer look at the problems relating to land ownership, the lecture is designed to complement the one organised by the Association Champenoise de Gestion et de Comptabilité (AG2C, Champagne Management and Accountancy Association).
2 p.m – Chapiteau Programmation: The Marne General Council will be holding a lecture on planting rights, given by Professor Théodore GEORGOPOULOS, Senior Lecturer at the Reims Faculty of Law and head of the “Wine and Law” programme.
2 p.m – TV Studio set : Jean-François MOUSSY speaks on the topic of apprenticeships.
3 p.m – Amphithéâtre/Hôtel de Communauté: The Seine-Normandy Water Agency will be holding a conference focusing on:
- assessment of standardisation with regard to purification of wine presses, actions in collaboration with CIVC (a must of 4000hl corresponds to use of water by 250 people a day)
- assessment of implementation of purification stations
4 p.m – Chapiteau Programmation : Lecture organised by the Association Champenoise de Gestion et de Comptabilité on the theme “inheritance tax reform” by Hervé LEPELLETIER (AG2C). The AG2C lecture tackles a highly topical issue. The reform should lead winegrowers to give earlier thought to the handing on of their lands and property. While shedding light on new ideas, the lecture will stick to practicalities, giving specific examples of property transfer and optimisation thereof.
6 p.m. – TV studio set : “Les livres et le Champagne, un monde en effervescence ?” , moderated by Jean BATILLIET, with Daniel RONDEAU - French Ambassador to Malta, the journalist and writer- Michel JOLYOT, J-M PINCON, Benoit MUSSET, Catherine COUTANT, R.VAZART et Geoffrey ORBAN.
TV Studio set : Round table on international development of companies active in the champagne sector, with help from the Champagne Entrepreneurs Club and the participation of Didier EXBRAYAT of the Champagne -Ardenne Regional Council.

10:30 a.m – Salle Prestige: Lecture by Claire DESBOIS-THIBAULT on commemoration of the 1911 vineyard revolts: Historian and winegrower Claire DESBOIS-THIBAULT, who worked on the Villa Bissinger exhibition in Aÿ, will be giving a lecture relating the events that shook our vineyards to their roots a hundred years ago.
2 p.m – TV studio set : Award of the Epernay Pays de Champagne Community of Communes 2011 Public Prize for Innovation
EVERY DAY
Entrée Hall Bulle : Sensory discovery with the “Univers du Goût en Champagne” Association in collaboration with its counterpart in Alsace
Halls Bulle, Champagne and Capsule : Innovation course which promotes of companies proposing new patents, new products, or innovative procedures, through an introductory itinerary with public voting on the most interesting innovation.
Bulle, Champagne, and Capsule Halls : Innovation Route that will showcase companies offering new patents, new products, or innovation. At the end of the route, visitors will be able to vote for their favourite innovation. This Public Prize will be awarded on the last day on the TV studio set.
Chapiteau Espace Pôle Emploi : Employment and training space “Champagne, a Bouquet of Professions” with presentation of different types of viticulture education
TV Studio set – VITeff / Crédit Agricole du Nord -Est: Encounters, debates and interviews with the various participants in the programming, and also with representatives of all the professional bodies in the sector, including OIV, Union of Oenologists, AREV and Franciacorta.
10 a.m – Entrance Hall Champagne : Exhibition: 1911, “The Revolution in Champagne”. Two revolts against the same misfortunes… 100 years ago, the vineyards rose up in arms – a revolution from which present-day Champagne was born, with all the distinctive characteristics that go together to create the appellation’s strength and prestige. The exhibition retraces the course of the revolts, their contexts and their consequences, and pays tribute to those who lived through those dark hours until light was seen at the end of the tunnel. (Organised and mounted by Villa Bissinger, in partnership with the General Union of Winegrowers.)
10 a.m – Entrée Hall Champagne : General Union of Winegrowers Literary Encounters, offer a special theme for each day with author signings:
- the 1st day will be focusing on gastronomy,
- the 2nd day on scientific aspects,
- the 3rd day on Champagne (heritage and villages)
- and the 4th day on strip cartoons.
11 a.m - Entrance Hall Champagne Espace Gastronomique : Gourmet workshops by Geoffrey ORBAN: “How to associate Food and Champagne”
4 p.m – Entrance Hall Champagne Espace Gastronomique : Gastronomic workshops led by Jean Claude PELLETIER of the National Academy of Cuisine, with the support of the Regional Council, represented by Catherine COUTANT; recipes prepared from regional produce.
